A masterpiece begins with an idea. An obsession to create something better than the sum of its parts. Then deliberation…how will these genes interact with those; what works, what won’t. What kind of showjumper, ten years from now, will be needed to win a big championship, again and then again? A decision enabled by experience, evidence and serendipity.
Free-ranged in the Kalahari, our horses are slowly but surely raised on sweetveld, homegrown lucerne and oats. Four years, then compassionate preparation under saddle.
